Ultra-Shear's Countersink Slotting Router Bits are designed to cut a countersunk pilot hole like a traditional countersink drill bit, but with the added capability of cutting sideways. This allows for the creation of slots that fit wood screws and accommodate the expansion and contraction of wood. Available in sizes for #6, #8, #10, and #12 screws, these solid carbide bits deliver incredibly clean cuts and long-lasting performance, capable of handling thousands of screw blocks.
Versatile Applications
These countersink bits excel in both router tables and plunge routers with fences. They simplify and speed up the process of making multiple screw blocks at once, with the slot length adjustable based on the wood species and board width.
